Prohibition Bistro: Savor Authentic Italian Wood-Fire Pizza and Pasta

A fantastic and quaint bistro. Classic Italian pasta that was perfectly cooked. The classic.meatball was juicy, the bolognese had a zip with a rich.and.meaty sauce.

We had a large group of 12 and were able to get an early table. Our waitress did an excellent job, keeping everything filled up and meeting our needs. The mussels were top notch, the pizzas were tasty, and that beef marsala was very flavorful!

Tucked away on the harbor's edge near Lake Michigan, Harry's captures the essence of authentic Italian dining with a waterfront twist. The dim, ambient lighting creates an intimate, romantic atmosphere—perfect for date nights. Their woodfire pizzas bring you to Italy, charred to perfection in a blazing oven that infuses every crust with smoky, authentic flavor. What elevates the experience is the bartender, (the name escapes me, but his charisma doesn't). Knowledgeable about wines and cocktails, he crafts them with flair. Friendly without being overbearing.

We went yesterday for our anniversary, and it never disappoints. In my opinion, it has the best pizza dough in the region. The walnut pizza and the sausage pizza are our favorites. The service is always excellent and very accommodating. Our server, Citlalli, was especially kind and made our experience even better.

Hot soppressata pizza was great and so was the prosciutto, olive and mozzarella appetizer. Loved the speakeasy atmosphere too.

WOW! We loved our dinner at Harry’s We were sat immediately, and our server was extremely kind and attentive. We both ordered pizza - I got the Truffle and my fiancé ordered the Beef Marsala. Honestly some of the best wood fired pizza we’ve had. We also got a bottle of moscato which was delicious. We’re looking forward to our next visit!

My family and I have gone here numerous times and it's just always amazing. The owner almost always checks in with all the tables, the service is usually amazing (they usually give little samples or free desserts for things like birthdays or just at random!), the food is absolutely amazing (especially the hot sopressata pizza), the atmosphere is cozy and a nice balance of casual and fancy, food and drinks aren't super pricey. Such a great spot for a nice little night out!

Situated right on the water, this place offers great experience. While we didn't have the chance to sample their pizza this time, it's definitely on our list for the next visit. The drinks were expertly crafted and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend!"
